Back in 2001 and 2002 mp3 downloads were all the youth cared about. It was now possible to download mp3 music for free on the internet. People didn’t care that they were in fact ‘stealing’ the majority of the songs they were downloading. The majority, however, didn’t know that they could be sued for doing so. This was the case with Rachel.

Rachel was a mother of two young children living in Chicago. She worked two jobs to make ends meet. Buying CD’s was out of the question for her. She just cound’t afford to do so, and that’s why she resorted to downloading music illegally on the internet.

One day, she received a letter from the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). She obviously didn’t know who they were. She thought it was junk mail so she jus threw the letter in the trash. Big mistake.

Four weeks later the Feds raided her home and confiscated her PC.

“What have I done ?” she asked the marshalls.

“Illegal mp3 downloads Ma’am!” they responded.

From what I read from the Boss TU-3 review, the Boss TU is the boss of all guitar tuners. That was all I needed to know to convince me to get one to give to my housemate.

My housemate is under the delusion that she is an awesome guitar player. Nobody just has the heart to tell her that her playing sucks. When she asks how she sounds everybody would just nod and make a grunting sound, which she often misinterprets as an approval.

There was one time that she played during my birthday and I wanted to make her stop because the guests were getting irritated, but she was having too much fun. So instead of making her stop I told my friends to just ignore her. After the party she went to me and blabbed about how everybody loved her performance. Our other housemates just snorted and told her to help clean up while I stayed quiet. She was smiling the whole time she was cleaning that we just let her be.

I was hoping the pricey tuner would send a good message to her that she needs to check her tune. The problem is that she still did not get the message.

Although the franchise is not current right now and the game is technically on hiatus, it would seem that fans and players of the game “Guitar Hero” still love the game despite some issues and mistakes that were made with the franchise. One of the executives at the company says that there were some mistakes made with the game and its marketing and that there were some lessons that the company still needed to learn. I had to enjoy the usual boring Saturday daytime ritual of being dragged around the shops by my wife today while she spends most of the money I work hard all week to earn. The woman has some spending issues but I have learned long ago that nothing I say is ever going to change that.
