My uncle is an ambulance technician, and when I was younger, he used to take me with him to some emergency calls whenever I was visiting him in the hospital. This made me want to take up EMT now that I am all grown up. Those trips back with him when I was younger sure fired up something in me that I wanted to really save people. I wanted to be the first to arrive to the scene of whoever calls and needs our medical help. This also made my uncle so proud of me as he said that once I finish up taking my EMT course, he will be recommending me to his current work as a possible replacement for him in the near future. I sure cannot wait for that day to come that I will be the one in the ambulance and driving out to help people in need of medical services.

I applied for one of the School Scholarships and Grants that are for students. I hope I get the grant approved. I have not had a terrific academic record. Nevertheless, I applied to get a grant. Since I had financial problems, I was advised to apply for a grant. I could not pay the tuition fees. My mom has been unable to provide me the financial help that I needed. I went for a counseling session with the student counselor. She advised that I applied for a grant. She explained to me everything nicely. I managed all the papers according to her suggestion. I submitted all the papers in time. Now I have been waiting to get a result. Let us hope for the best. If I get the grant approved, I will try my best to do well in the next semester.
